Hi, I'm Burnham

I’m a Bristol-based photographer that specialises in impressionistic fine art portraits. Whilst photography is incredibly good at capturing singular moments in time, what fascinates me is how we remember a place or person. When I look back at something I’m often flooded with images, but only one or two things really stand out. I try to recreate this feeling with my photography by manipulating space and time around one focal point. This, I believe, creates a photo that reveals itself like a story in a half remembered dream or forgotten memory
